A Thank You Gift With Lasting Meaning
Sometimes a simple thank you means a lot. A Little Saps Thank You Gift Tree gives you a meaningful way to express your gratitude with something living that can be planted, nurtured, and enjoyed for years to come.
As the tree grows, it becomes a lasting reminder of your appreciation—and of the kindness, generosity, or support that inspired the gift.
A Thoughtful Way to Say Thank You
A Thank You Gift Tree can help you show your appreciation to:
A friend or family member
A teacher, coach, or mentor
A neighbor
A host or hostess
A caregiver or someone who offered support
An employee, colleague, client, or business partner
Anyone whose kindness made a difference
Personalize Your Thank You Gift Tree
Every Thank You Gift Tree includes a thank you gift tag and a keepsake card featuring your personal message.
Your message can recognize a specific act of kindness, express appreciation for ongoing support, or simply let someone know how much they mean to you. Whether you have a lot to say or just a few heartfelt words, your personal message makes the gift uniquely yours.
Why Give a Living Tree to Say Thank You?
A living tree is a meaningful way to express gratitude because the sentiment doesn't end when the gift arrives. The tree can continue to grow, becoming a lasting reminder of your appreciation.
Whether you're thanking someone for a thoughtful gesture, years of support, or simply for being there when you needed them, a Little Sap offers a beautiful way to say, “Thank you.”
Tree Variety
Little Saps are living evergreen trees selected to grow outdoors. Because different tree varieties thrive in different climates, our tree experts choose a variety suited to the recipient’s growing region. This gives each Little Sap the best opportunity to grow and thrive in its new home.

Little Saps are living evergreen trees and need an outdoor home. Place your tree outside in a sunny or partially shaded location where it can experience fresh air, natural light, and seasonal changes.
If your tree arrived in a pot: Your Little Sap can remain in the pot it arrives in for about a year before it will need a larger container or a permanent home in the ground. Be sure to remove the plastic drainage plug from the bottom of the pot so excess water can drain freely.
Allow the soil to dry between waterings rather than keeping it constantly wet. During periods of regular rainfall, additional watering may not be necessary, while periods of drought may require more frequent watering. Your tree will also need more water during sunny, warm weather, when it loses more moisture through transpiration, and during periods of active growth. It will generally need less water during winter or extended periods of cool, cloudy weather.
If your tree arrived in a bag: Plant your sapling directly in the ground or transfer it to an outdoor container with proper drainage. If using a container, we recommend a well-draining soil mix:
Half potting soil, ideally with slow-release fertilizer
Half pine bark mulch
Whichever option you choose, avoid overwatering. Soil should be allowed to dry somewhat between waterings, and your tree should never sit in standing water.
