At Little Saps, our goal is simple: we want every Little Sap to thrive.
Each tree we ship is a living thing, carefully grown and packed so it can arrive healthy and ready for its next chapter. Because these are live saplings, a little care after arrival helps ensure long-term success—and our team is always happy to guide you along the way.
The Little Saps Promise
If your Little Sap is not doing well within 30 days of arrival, please reach out to us. Our team will work with you to troubleshoot and provide guidance whenever possible.
If we’re unable to help your tree recover, we will send you a replacement tree.
Returns & Refunds
Because our trees are living saplings, they do not benefit from being shipped back and may not survive a return trip. For that reason, we do not require or ask customers to return trees.
Instead:
If there is an issue with your tree, please contact us within 2 days of delivery.
Include a photo and a brief description of the issue so our team can help diagnose the problem.
Depending on the situation, we may:
Provide care instructions to help your tree recover
Offer a replacement tree
Provide a refund or store credit
Our Philosophy
Trees are resilient, and with the right care they can grow for many years. We are always happy to help guide you through watering, planting, and placement so your Little Sap has the best possible start.

Terms of Service
Little Saps are packaged and potted to order, so please allow us 3-5 days to process requests for individual gift trees and at least 1 week for any order that is customized or intended for a specific event.
We ship USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground from Grassy Creek, North Carolina. Depending on the destination, shipping will take 2-5 business days. Read more about shipping. We also offer a Rush/Express option that will ship USPS Express Mail and should arrive in 1-3 days.
Orders must be paid in full before shipping, pick-up, or delivery.
Customers who order Little Saps for an event must cancel the order at least 1 week prior to the ship or delivery date. A 25% cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations within 1 week of the ship or delivery date will not be refunded.
