Prayer Tree

I call upon you, for you will answer me.

- Psalm 17:6

Little Saps Prayer Tree

Our Little Saps prayer tree sits in the center of our farm, yet also apart from everything else. A perfect place to sit, reflect, and pray. It is open to all who want to visit.

Our Little Saps gift trees are sent for all sorts of occasions - births, weddings, anniversaries, the loss of a loved one, to encourage or congratulate. Whatever the reason, our gift trees are sent for a special purpose.

As we put together each gift, we read the messages of love, hope, and encouragement that are sent with them. We wanted a way to lift up these messages, to hold people in their joy or in their grief. And it occurred to us - what better way than a prayer tree?

We believe that prayer matters. We believe that when we lift up people or situations, it makes a difference in their lives and in the world around us. We pray in the Christian tradition, because that’s what is most meaningful for us. But we believe that there are many different kinds of prayer and that all of them are powerful. Our prayer tree represents all types of prayer, blessing, and well-wishing.

The tree we chose as a prayer tree is an old apple tree that sits in the center of our farm, yet apart from everything else. It has low branches that are easy to reach and it is a perfect place to sit, reflect, and pray. It is open to all who want to visit.

When you purchase a Little Saps gift tree, there is an opportunity during the checkout process to add a name, a petition, or a blessing to our prayer tree. We understand that prayer is not for everyone, so we will not add anything unless you want us to. But for those that find comfort in prayer, we hope that we can provide one more tangible way for you to remember lost loved ones, to lift up difficult situations, or to bless those beginning new journeys.

We look forward to telling you more about our prayer tree as it grows. For now, we hope that it is another way that we can fulfill our mission here at Little Saps - to help people share living expressions of love, encouragement, hope, and healing during moments of celebration and grief.
