A Christmas Tree That Lives Outside
Little Saps are evergreen trees and cannot survive indoors. This real mini Christmas tree needs to live outside, where it can get fresh air and sunlight.
A front step, porch table, balcony, or garden can all make a good temporary home. After the holidays, it can be planted or moved into a larger outdoor container as it grows.

Choose your container, select a holiday gift tag, and add your personal message to the keepsake card. Our team then selects an evergreen suited to the recipient’s growing region, packages it carefully, and sends it on its way.
We currently ship within the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. Orders usually arrive within 2–5 business days, depending on the destination. The final date to order trees before Christmas is Monday, December 21, 2026.
Every tree includes planting and care instructions and is backed by the Little Saps Promise. If your tree isn’t doing well within 30 days of arrival, send us a note and photo and we’ll help, including a replacement if it isn’t taking root.

Every Holiday Gift Tree includes a gift tag that says “Merry & Bright” and a keepsake card. After you click Add to Cart, you will be prompted to write a personal message for the keepsake card included with the tree.
Your message can be as simple as “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays” or you can express wishes for all that is still ahead.

Little Saps are evergreen trees and cannot survive indoors. They need an outdoor home after arrival, either planted directly in the ground or kept outdoors in an appropriate container with proper drainage.
If the tree is placed in a container, we recommend a well-draining soil mix:
Half potting soil, ideally with slow-release fertilizer
Half pine bark mulch
Fresh air, sunlight, water, and seasonal changes are all essential to healthy growth.

A living holiday tree is meant to be enjoyed long after the season ends. Some evergreens naturally bronze during winter before returning to bright green in spring. Soil should be kept moist but not soggy, and young trees may need additional protection during extreme weather.
As the tree grows, it may eventually need a larger planter or a permanent home in the landscape. Care instructions are included with every Little Sap so the recipient can feel confident caring for their tree through the seasons.
